This brand new unit provides an overview of persuasive communication and how to develop a strategic marketing plan. It is designed to teach students about agricultural communications and help prepare for the ag communications CDE.

Topics cover persuasive communication, the communication model, integrated marketing communications, the persuasive communications process, and how to develop a strategic plan.

Appendices include information on how to write a press release, following Associated Press style, and a brief overview of principles of design. A glossary of terms is also included.
